The Museum of Miniature Found Objects has been mystified by the recent defacing of the museum, as seen above. The flyposting took place overnight on Thursday, and covered the building's façades on Beastly Way and Sloam Hill. Whilst the museum supports street art as a new and exciting, democratic art form, its irreverence increasingly displacing the more elitist, gallery-bound art culture, and creating an arena in which young artists can make their mark, this defacement of the museum buildings cannot be seen as an art form and is damaging to the museum fabric. Should visitors or members of the public have any information on this recent activity, they are urged to contact the museum's anti-graffiti hotline. All calls will be treated as confidential.
